We miss Joey every day, the world truly lost an absolute legend.  My cousin Joey was one of the best humans I’ve ever met, and his photo hangs in the center of our home as a reminder of the life he lived and the memories that we made together.  Joey was the bright light in our family, he made everyone around him feel special, and he always made you believe you were capable of doing anything. He constantly pushed himself to be the best version of himself that he could be, to bring people together and to lend help to any and everyone, wherever he could.  He truly enjoyed life and his memory inspires us to enjoy each day and take advantage of the opportunities presented to us.

The foundation is an extension of Joey, a way to help families of those fighting Amyloidosis, as well as those in need. Most importantly it is a reminder that even the healthiest, most active young adults are susceptible to this terrible illness, and how crucial it is to get annual check-ups and physicals. Although our family will forever miss Joey, and life will never be the same, we will never forget the times we shared, and will always do our best to Live Like Joe.
